About Brett
Brett Winn Helps People Find the Breakthrough Inside the Breakdown.

The Beginning
Before Brett Winn became the founder of RAVE Collective, a speaker, podcast host, and author, he was a storyteller trying to figure out how to turn pressure into purpose. The path was not clean. It was full of the same moments he now talks about on stage and in print — the ones that almost derail you, but eventually define you.
The Career
Three Decades at the Intersection of Creativity, Business, and Leadership.

Brett has spent more than three decades in entertainment marketing, creative leadership, and entrepreneurship. As Founder and CEO of RAVE Collective, he leads teams across film, television, sports, brands, and culture. His work sits at the intersection of story, strategy, and human connection — helping organizations communicate what matters most with clarity and impact.
Brett is also the Co-Director of My Date With Drew — the acclaimed documentary that followed an ordinary guy's quest to land a date with Drew Barrymore on a $1,100 budget. The film premiered at the Urbanworld Film Festival and became a cult classic, cementing Brett's reputation as a creative storyteller willing to bet everything on an impossible idea.

Why EPIC SHIFTS
The Book Was Born Out of Real Pressure.
EPIC SHIFTS did not come from theory. It came from lived experience — business pressure, leadership mistakes, hard decisions, setbacks, pivots, and the relentless belief that the story is not over when things get hard.
Brett built this platform because he needed this framework himself. And because he kept meeting leaders, founders, and creatives who were going through the same fire — and had no language for what was happening to them or what to do next.
The Person
More Than the Work.
Brett is also a husband, father, and longtime nonprofit advocate. He has been a dedicated supporter of A Place Called Home, where he has helped tell stories, raise support, and create opportunities for young people in South Central Los Angeles. That work has shaped how he thinks about leadership, community, and what it means to use your platform for something beyond yourself.
The Mission
Setback Is Not Proof You Are Done.
EPIC SHIFTS exists to help people stop seeing setback as evidence that they are finished — and start seeing it as evidence that they are being invited into their next level.
